Assist our teachers in our Adult ESL (English as a Second Language) classes. Assistants would circulate during activities, helping to monitor the students as they complete the exercises, offering guidance and encouragement. Assistants would also help facilitate discussions, role-plays or group work so students get more speaking practice. Assistants might also work one on one with students who need extra help with pronunciation, reading comprehension or writing. No experience is necessary--just a willingness to assist the teacher and help the students learn English. Morning classes are Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:15 to 11:15 AM. Evening classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 8 PM. Class run thru mid May. Sign up if you are interested and we will contact you to see what works with your schedule.
