We could use a variety of volunteers to help with our Children's Summer Program (for babies to age 10) for our refugee clients from June 2 to July 2nd We need volunteers to help direct traffic during the first two weeks of the program and to direct families to the correct door; greet families arriving by Lyft and assist children into the building and help with car seats; assist teachers in setting up and taking down for water days outside; and more. Click below for more details and specific dates and times. The program will be held at our East Community Center, 8145 E. 17th Street. The minimum age to volunteer is 18 but if you are 16-17 and are interested in volunteering, email us at volunteer@ywcatulsa.org to see if we have a spot for you. We would love to have a volunteer to help our team by sitting at the front desk of our PJW location to greet members as they come in. You would work with our staff to learn some of the basics of check in and answering phones etc. We are looking for someone to volunteer 10-15 hours/week at 1910 S. Adult Mentors will work with small groups of refugee youth on setting a goal and action plan for academics or employment. Commitment is for one year, meeting twice per month. Sign up if interested and you will be contacted with more details.

The Support Squad Volunteer will work 2-4 hours per week during regular business hours to assist with various tasks assigned by the YWCA's Grant Compliance, Data and IT manager. Responsibilities will include organizing files in our team's cloud storage, updating our monthly master document for reporting, updating IT inventory, reviewing and updating a master document with contract information and completing other inventories as assigned. Required skills/abilities include basic computer skills (Outlook, Microsoft Excel and Word), strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, reliable and responsible.
