Are you good at organizing? We are going to accept donations of new or gently used clothing and other household items for our clients. We need a few volunteers to help us organize the donation area and keep it organized when we receive donations. You can do this at any time during business hours. Adult Mentors will work with small groups of refugee youth on setting a goal and action plan for academics or employment. Commitment is for one year, meeting twice per month. Sign up if interested and you will be contacted with more details.

When our immigrant and refugee clients find new jobs, they often have no means of transportation yet and sometimes their shifts start before public transportation services are available. If you would be interested in driving a client to and/or from work for a couple of weeks, sign up and we will contact you with our current specific needs to see if it works with your schedule. If you would like to donate an Uber or Lyft gift card instead, we can use those to get them to work so they can start earning money to pay for transportation. Seeking volunteers for our annual Welcoming Week Family Festival on Saturday, September 21, and for set up the day before. The event is held outdoors at our East Community Center at 8145 E. 17th Street. We have a variety of shifts available on September 20th and 21st. This event is a fun field day for our clients and we need many volunteers to make it a success. Click on Volunteer next to a shift to see the shift details.
